This July, AFRIpads celebrated reaching the highest point of construction on our new production facility. To celebrate this milestone in the construction process, we invited members of the surrounding community, local officials and the AFRIpads Masaka team for a small celebration at the construction site in Kitengesa village.
The new production facility will enable AFRIpads to more than double our production capacity and will provide jobs to upwards of 500 women and men from the local community.
Construction is on track to be completed later this year.
