My name is Nakakeeto Resty. I am 20 years and a tailor at AFRIpads. I am a single woman with no child, and I have served for four years with AFRIpads now.
International Women’s Day means for me a day when women were given their freedom and rights.
Women empowerment means development among women. That is having a mission of going forward in terms of development. I think women are driving development, by supporting their families and the communities around them. By developing women you are therefore developing all the other people around them as well.
AFRIpads is empowering me by providing me with an opportunity to work with them and above all by having my payments in time. This makes me reach my goals in time. By working with AFRIpads I also help other girls to reach their goals, and that makes me very happy.
